How to Become a Body

Sept 11 – Oct 25, 2025
How to Become a Body explores the eerie beauty of emergent intelligence and interconnected life, weaving together mycelial networks, instructional schematics, and strange bodily architectures.
Through imagery of electroformed claws, unblinking eyes, and speculative “how-to” guides, the exhibition navigates the idea of the unplaceable body, an intelligence not articulated but that gives rise to systems and guides being. Within this bio-logic, energies swirl and vie for dominance, body parts emerge and recede from indefinite forms.
Each work in the exhibition embodies a push and pull of becoming. Seen together, the works suggest a symbiotic evolution, in which matter shifts beyond biological material and towards a collective incorporeal goal, on the verge of entering its next phase.
